Family

Mission statement:

To encourage every family member to strengthen his or her spiritual dimemsion and family relationship through mutual love, honor, respect, and responsibility.

Mission:

To promote understanding, acceptance, and love within the family and in the larger family of god and foster the reconciliation and healing between the generations.


Goals & objectives:
  • Providing growth opportunities through family life education and enrichment.
  • To foster competence in a variety of interpersonal skills needed in relationships.
Summary of past and present activities:

As newly elected family ministries leaders we wish to establish and strenghten the family as a discipline center, giving them fundamental family values and a closer relationship with god and with other human beings within the church and surrounding community.


Accomplishments:

Having a closer walk with god, and allowing him to lead our lives daily.


Looking ahead:

Working with the pastor to survey the needs of the church: couples, single persons, single parents, children, teens, young adults, mature adults, ect., finding which topics are of interest to them.
